What can I design in the Homevis studio?
The design studio has options for kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms and exteriors, in Modern, Scandi, Industrial, Farmhouse or Luxury styles. You can pick cabinetry, benchtop and flooring finishes, upload up to 10 JPG, PNG or WEBP images, including close-ups of the tiles or materials you want, and describe any other changes in your own words. How does tradie matching work?
When you sign up and generate a design, your contact details, photos and project brief can be shared with vetted tradies who service your area and do the type of work your renovation needs. A tradie may then contact you to offer their services. A shared lead goes to no more than three tradespeople, and you are never obliged to engage anyone.
Are Homevis tradies licensed and insured?
Every tradie account is reviewed by our team before it is activated. All tradespeople on Homevis have a verified QBCC licence, ABN and public liability insurance on file at time of signup. As with any trade, confirm their licence, insurance and quote before you engage them.
Can I use the studio without tradies contacting me?
Yes. Contact us and we will exclude your details from matching. We can stop future sharing at any time, but cannot recall details already given to a tradie. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is shared.
How accurate are the AI renovation previews?
Previews are realistic design concepts for comparing options and explaining your ideas to trades. They are not architectural drawings, engineering plans or quotes, and the finished renovation may differ. After generating a preview, the studio can also show an estimated cost range, looked up from a pricing table rather than guessed by AI.
How do tradies join Homevis?
Tradies apply through the tradie portal with their QBCC licence number, ABN and public liability insurance details. Once approved, they see renovation leads for the trades and areas they service and are charged when a lead is delivered. Email leads@homevis.com for per-lead pricing.
