The Homevis design studio lets you visualise renovation changes before any physical work begins. Answer the questions about your space and upload your photos. The studio builds a renovation brief from your choices and uses it to generate a realistic design concept. You can explore the form as a guest; sign up or sign in to generate an image. Because Homevis is a Gold Coast tradie matching service, a trusted local tradie may then get in touch about completing your renovation.
Choose your room, style and finishes
Select a room under What room are we redesigning?, then Pick a style. Both are required. Choose your preferred cabinetry colour, benchtop and flooring, or leave these finishes set to No preference. Use the optional Anything else? field to explain specific changes such as tapware, lighting or wall colours.
In Anything else?, be specific about materials, colours, and which image to modify. For example:
"Replace the floor in the first image with the tiles attached in the second image."
- "Replace the kitchen benchtop with white marble."
- "Change the bathroom tiles to the grey slate shown in the second image."
- "Paint the living room walls the same colour as the reference photo."
Check Your renovation brief below the photo upload area. It updates from your answers, so you can review the instructions before using an image generation.
If you want to create patterns from different tiles on the floor and walls, use tape or paper to mark areas where you want specific types of tiles to go (for an example, see Why Our AI is the best for Renovations).
Upload your images
Click browse files under Photos of your space, or drag and drop images directly. Add at least one photo of the space you want to redesign. You can attach up to 10 images, including a photo of your room and a separate close-up of the tile or material you want to apply.
Use clear, well-lit photos for the best results. Higher resolution images produce more realistic outputs. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP.

After uploading, thumbnails of all your images will appear below the upload area. Click the × on any thumbnail to remove that image before generating.
Your photos and design brief help generate your preview and explain the project to local tradies you may be matched with. The preview is a design concept; discuss the scope and quote with your tradie before building.
Generate your image
Once you have chosen a room and style, reviewed your brief and uploaded your photos, click Create Image. Sign up or sign in if prompted. The AI will process your request and display the generated renovation image in the output area below. Each account includes three free image generations; the studio shows how many remain.
If you have generations remaining, adjust your selections or add detail in Anything else? before generating again.
Clear and start over
Want to try a completely different renovation idea? Click the Clear button to reset your selections, notes and uploaded images so you can start fresh. Clearing the form does not restore image generations already used.

How many images can I upload?
You can attach up to 10 images. Include at least one photo of the space you want to redesign, then add reference photos of your chosen materials or finishes as needed.
What image formats are supported?
The app accepts JPG, PNG, and WEBP files. For the best output quality, use images that are at least 1000px wide.
Can I use the app for any room type?
The studio currently offers Kitchen, Bathroom, Living room and Exterior choices. Use Anything else? to describe the specific changes you want. See the renovation visualisation gallery for examples.
Will anyone contact me after I use the app?
Possibly, and that's how Homevis works. We're a tradie matching service, so the project details you submit may be shared with trusted local tradies, and one may reach out to ask whether you'd be interested in their services to complete your renovation. It costs you nothing and there's no obligation. If you'd rather not be contacted, just let us know via the Contact page.
How much does the app cost?
Each homeowner account includes three free image generations. You can explore the studio as a guest, then sign up or sign in to generate. Homevis is funded by the tradies in our network, who pay to be matched with renovation projects.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
Adjust your room, style or finish selections and add more specific notes in Anything else?. If you have generations remaining, try again. If you have used all three generations or need help, contact the Homevis team.
